After an active day out, there's something special about gathering mountain-brown grins around the table to enjoy a better meal of Nordic cuisine. Our long table sits in a dining room with 19th-century timber-framed walls. The oak living room is another option. Here we enjoy rustic food based on Nordic food traditions, interrupted only by good conversation.
Our goal is for our guests to lean back and enjoy. We take care of the food, so you can discuss today's achievements and dreams for the future, in the same way as the mountain pioneers did over 100 years ago, here at Hotel Aak.
You're welcome! We know that the way to the heart is through the stomach. That's why we've spent a lot of time finding the best dishes. Our bestseller is a four-course menu consisting of homemade food, made with love. The four-course menu is served every evening at 19:30 at the long table. You're welcome to arrive a little earlier, grab a drink from the bar and relax in the living room. Sometimes we expand the menu to both five and six courses (or more if you wish) - and when the game season is in full swing, we can tempt you with an unforgettable game night with up to 12 courses.
Nice to know
During the summer high season, dinner is served every evening. Outside the high season, you can order dinner if you are a group or when we have other guests.
We are concerned about sustainability and food waste, which is why we do not have a set menu online. Feel free to call us to hear the menu for tomorrow.
You are always welcome to book a table or send a request outside our regular opening hours. If you are a group that wants dinner, we will usually find a place for you!
