After an active day outdoors, there is something very special about gathering happy tanned grins around the table to enjoy a better meal from the Nordic cuisine. In a dining room with patched wooden walls from the 19th century is our long table. Eikestua is another option. Here we enjoy gourmet food based on Nordic food traditions, only interrupted by good conversations.
Our goal is for our guests to lean back and enjoy. We take care of the food, so you can discuss today's achievements and dreams for the future, in the same way as the mountain pioneers did over 100 years ago, here at Hotel Aak.
Enjoy your meal! We know that the way to the heart goes through the stomach. Therefore, we have spent a lot of time finding the best dishes. Our bestseller is a three-course menu consisting of homemade food, made with love. The three-course menu is served every evening at 19:30 o'clock at the long table. The aperitif is at 19:00 o'clcok. Sometimes we expand the menu to both four and five dishes (or more if you wish) - and when the hunting season is underway, we can tempt you with an unforgettable quarry night with up to 12 dishes.
Nice to know
In high season summer, dinner is served every night. Outside the high season you can order dinner if you are a group or when we have other guests visiting.
Our hotel guests have first priority to get a place for dinner at 19:30 o'clock. If you are not a guest but want dinner, feel free to send us an inquiry! We are happy to set up an extra table setting if necessary and if we have the capacity.
You are always welcome to book a table or send a request outside our regular opening hours. If you are a group that wants dinner, we will usually find a place for you!
