Participant requirements

Good physical fitness. The hike takes approximately 6–8 hours and involves both walking and climbing on steep and rugged terrain.

No previous climbing experience required – all necessary training is provided along the way.
(Previous climbing experience and good comfort at altitude are still an advantage.)

Travel to and from Romsdalen

Personal equipment such as clothing, backpack, and footwear

Do you want an even safer experience?

It is possible to add an extra half day before the summit climb to become familiar with basic climbing techniques such as rappelling, belaying and rope handling.
This provides a calmer and more relaxed experience on the summit day itself.
