Who are we?
Hotel Aak, Norway's first tourist hotel in the countryside. This is where the mountain sports pioneers had their base at the end of the 19th century. Today we work to maintain the comfortable, rural and homely feel. Here you will be able to relax and feel the warm Aak feeling. Luxury with us is real, simple, down to earth. Guests are taken around the mountains. Healthy mountain people host. Perform, enjoy. Travel less and experience more, we say. Tourists visit us on weekends, companies on weekdays.

What does the job entail?
We want our guests to have REAL experiences all year round. This is where you come in. You'll make sure the guest is smiling from the moment they arrive until they leave. Simple food preparation, reception work, presenting food, drinks and not least; our history is part of the host role. At Aak, we are also potatoes = flexible and have an eye for what needs to be done and step in where needed.  

If you're interested in guiding, that's great. In the summer, you can take guests on guided e-bike tours, hiking and kayaking (certification must be in place).

What can we offer?
At Aak you can be yourself, say what you think. Aak evolves with feedback from guests and staff. The path from idea to action is short. No two days are ever the same and there are always changes. Working days alternate between day, evening and weekend. Hotel Aak is environmentally certified. We are constantly looking for new ways to reduce our footprint. Now you may have realized: here you can have an impact too.

If you're interested in wine, beer and bars, that's a huge plus! So is a background in waitressing. You must be at least 20 years old.
